How often does a San Diego lawn need mowing?
Warm-season grasses (Bermuda, St. Augustine, Zoysia) grow fast March through October and usually need weekly service. From November to February, every 2-3 weeks is plenty. Fescue and ryegrass run on similar schedules but can go every 10 days in peak growth. We adjust the route based on actual growth, not the calendar.
What's included in a weekly visit?
Mow, edge, string trim, light hedge touch-up on the route, and a full blow-off of hardscape. Debris is hauled off-site. Not included by default: deep hedge sculpting, fertilization, weed control, or bed mulching — those are scheduled separately.
Do you bring your own mower and equipment?
Yes. Commercial walk-behind and stand-on mowers, gas and battery trimmers, and a blower. We sharpen blades weekly, which matters — dull blades tear grass and cause brown tips.
What if I want the grass cut shorter or longer?
Tell us. We cut to grass-type best practice by default, but we follow customer preference within reason. Scalping a warm-season lawn to 1" in July stresses it badly, and we will flag that before going ahead.
Do you service synthetic turf lawns?
Not as a primary service — we don't cut turf. We do brush, rinse, and clean turf yards if you have us on a route, but if your yard is all artificial, check our partners at Green Pro Turf San Diego instead.
